Pasta Sauce

These tomato sauces have a fresh and natural taste. Prepared with chopped tomatoes and the addition of selected vegetables, they come in six tasty Mediterranean flavours: Italian cheese, Basil, Arrabbiata (chilli), Bolognese (meat), Mushrooms and Napoletana (vegetables). The range is completed with Pesto, The typical sauce from Genoa made of basil, extra virgin olive oil, Parmigiano and Pecorino cheese, pine-nuts and garlic.

Ingredients

Italian Cheese: tomatoes 73% (tomato puree, chopped tomatoes), onion 10%, water, sunflower oil 2,5%, sugar, modified starch, salt, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese 0,5% (MILK, salt, rennet), natural flavor, parsley, pepper, acidity regulator: citric acid.

Basilico:
tomatoes 82% (chopped tomatoes, tomato puree), onion, carrot, sugar, sunflower oil, extra virgin olive oil, salt, modified starch, basil, 0.6%, white wine, garlic, natural flavouring of basil, acidity regulator: citric acid

Arrabbiata:
tomatoes 75% (sieved tomatoes, chopped tomatoes), vegetables 17% (onion, carrot, celery), sunflower oil, sugar, salt, modified starch, flavourings, basil, natural flavouring of chilli 0.02%, acidity regulator: citric acid, natural flavouring of garlic 0.001%

Mushrooms: tomatoes 75% (sieved tomatoes, chopped tomatoes), vegetables 17% (onion, carrot, celery), sunflower oil, sugar, salt, modified starch, flavourings, basil, natural flavouring of chilli 0.02%, acidity regulator: citric acid, natural flavouring of garlic 0.001%

Bolognese: tomatoes 64% (tomato puree, chopped tomatoes), meat 19.5% (beef and pork), vegetables 10% (onion, carrot, celery), white wine, rapseed oil, salt, sugar, modified starch, rehydrated garlic, herbs, flavourings, acidity regulator: citric acid

Napoletana: tomatoes 75% (tomato puree, chopped tomatoes), vegetables 17% (onion, carrot, celery), sunflower oil, salt, sugar, herbs, modified starch, natural flavourings.

Pesto: Cirio Pesto recipe is designed to get the highest quality, in full respect of tradition. Cirio has made this speciality using only the best fresh basil, preserving its genuine, natural flavour. According to tradition, the recipe includes extra virgin olive oil, Grana Padano cheese, goat’s milk cheese, pine-nuts and garlic.
An ideal condiment to make typical recipes, it can be used to prepare Trofie al Pesto, Linguine with Pesto, or added to sun-dried tomatoes and shrimps to make tasty bruschetta. Give space to your imagination!
