Cirio Borlotti are shelled at source during the harvesting, then selected and graded using optical controls at the plants. Washed and blanched in hot water, they are canned and pasteurized using part of the cooking water and no other additives. The whole process is performed within 24 hours.
Ready with short baking times, the quality of Cirio beans is perceivable in the sweet taste and thin skin. Extremely versatile and can be enjoyed either hot or cold as a delicious addition to a range of meals including soups, stews and salads.
